MY STORY
Finding my passion
About ten years ago, I moved from my hometown in Miami, Florida to Columbus, Ohio to attend The Ohio State University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in English.
I am an avid writer, a curious photographer, and a driven design rookie. While these interests are different from one another, they do share something in common—a passion for storytelling.
While in school, I found my calling as a marketer and communicator and was determined to gain as much professional experience as possible. I worked a total of five internships by the end of my college career.
After graduation, I had various roles in diverse industries, including higher education, publishing, and retail.
STARTING FRESH
In late May 2018, I relocated to North Carolina to be with my new husband. Moving to a new place has been a whirlwind, but it has been exciting taking the next step personally and professionally!
In April 2019, I began a contract position with Cisco Systems as the Communications Analyst for Data Center.
During this role, I supported executive communication efforts for Global Data Center Sales leadership and team. These efforts included overseeing newsletters, customer win vehicles, and executive announcements via Eloqua, managing assets and content on Sales Connect, generating and reporting key metrics, and developing strategic communications plans for program initiatives.
Currently, I am a contracting Sales Enablement Content Strategist at Cisco. I support Cisco Learning and Certifications sales enablement efforts by developing and executing integrated, internal strategies and capabilities in alignment with sales and business priorities.
HOBBIES
Outside of the working world, I enjoy photography, binge reading Harry Potter, surrounding myself with friends, and cuddling with my fur babies, Twix, Willow, and Siegfried.
This is just a little bit about me. If you would like to know more about my personal and professional experience, please feel free to contact me anytime!
